June is a great time of year for Champagne® mango promotions, want to know why? The crop from Mexico’s northern growing region is currently being harvested and the fruit from the first pickings has been of exceptional quality. With June around the corner, we are just about to start our peak season.
Current forecasts indicate that volume will be consistent through the 4th of July, just in time for holiday planning. Furthermore, shipments from Nayarit have been arriving steadily with very clean and flavorful fruit. According to Ciruli Brothers COO Chris Ciruli, “we are just starting to hit our peak production and expect plenty of promotable volume and very good quality.” Ciruli adds that the crop has been arriving a little smaller than normal for this time of year, but expects sizing to increase within the next ten days.
