Ciruli Brothers COO, Chris Ciruli, has been appointed by the USDA to serve a two-year term in the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee (FVIAC). The FVIAC advises the Secretary of Agriculture on issues impacting the fresh produce industry.

“I am honored and feel very fortunate to serve our industry with fellow industry peers under the direction of Secretary Vilsack,” said Ciruli, a long-time industry volunteer and advocate for fresh fruit and vegetable consumption. As an appointee in the FVIAC, Chris will work alongside industry stakeholders to assess key issues affecting the fresh fruit and vegetable industry and make recommendations to the Secretary.
